MISSION STATEMENT

Lambda Catholics is an inclusive and ecumenical gay and lesbian organization. While we are endorsed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo , we also welcome others who seek spiritual support in the Catholic tradition.  We are affiliated with the Catholic Association for Lesbian and Gay Ministry (CALGM).

We exist to provide spiritual ministry with gay and lesbian persons, in keeping with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ document “Always Our Children” and Catholic social justice teachings.

Our ministerial work is done with the full knowledge and endorsement of the Pastoral Team of 

St. Thomas More and the Bishop of the Diocese of Kalamazoo.
